During the first wave of Covid in the year of 2020 Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation had a challenge to Manage the mask scale religious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi while ensuring there is no surge in the COVID-19 spread and increase in the patients.
This festival has a quite a big significance in the area and the citizens in the Municipality limits wanted to celebrate and get the immersion of the Ganesh idols being done in a traditional way.
To cater to this challenge, we have implemented our DigiSlot product in Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation, that helped the citizens to book their immersion slots well in advance and avoid unnecessary crowding at the time of immersions. This, product ensured no surge in COVID-19 numbers and smoothening of the immersions at the immersion spots in the city.
